At Divine Home Healthcare, our mission is to provide the essential support needed for individuals to remain safely and comfortably in their own homes while receiving professional care. We understand that many of our clients prefer to avoid unnecessary hospitalizations by proactively managing their health in a familiar environment. To support this goal, we offer a comprehensive range of services tailored to meet specific health needs. Our nursing care involves fully qualified nurses (RNs) who work directly with your physician to manage medications, monitor chronic illnesses, and provide wound or catheter care. These visits can be scheduled on a regular or as-needed basis depending on availability. Additionally, our trained Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) provide personal care and support, ranging from standby wellness checks to full-service assistance with showering and domestic upkeep. Our team stands ready to assist you or your loved ones during any time of health need. Our Story

In 2017, Marlene Jones, RN and Mary Urban, RN founded this company with a shared vision: to provide the same high standard of professional care they would want for themselves and their own loved ones. The inspiration for the name, Divine Home Healthcare, holds a very special meaning for Mary. In 2012, while caring for her grandmother at the end of her life, she told Mary that her path to nursing was a calling and described her decision to move her from Texas to Washington as "divine intervention." Those words stayed with Mary, and five years later, they became the foundation of their agency. After eight successful years as a co-owner, Marlene decided to retire from her ownership role. However, we are pleased to share that she will continue to support the business as a nursing consultant. Her extensive experience and Master’s degree remain invaluable assets to our team as she assists with key business decisions and clinical oversight. We remain deeply committed to our mission of providing exceptional care to our clients and a supportive workplace for our employees. Thank you for being a part of our journey.

Meet the Owner

Mary Urban, BSN, RN Owner

My journey in nursing began in 2008 when I spent four years caring for my grandmother full-time. This profound personal experience motivated me to pursue a professional career in healthcare. I progressed from a CNA to an LPN, and ultimately earned my RN, completing my initial education at Lower Columbia Community College followed by a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Western Governors University. When the opportunity arose to become a part-owner of a home healthcare agency, I accepted the challenge with faith and a clear mission. Throughout my career, I have cared for patients in private homes, adult family homes, and independent living communities. These experiences have reinforced my belief that professional nursing expertise is vital to ensuring the health, safety, and happiness of seniors. In addition to clinical care, I find great fulfillment in providing opportunities for caregivers and supporting their professional growth. While my formal education was in nursing rather than business, my years of experience have taught me the nuances of effective employee management. I feel I have the perfect role, as it allows me to balance nursing tasks with the responsibilities of running a company. I truly enjoy helping my patients remain as healthy as possible within the comfort of their own homes. I am confident that I am exactly where I am supposed to be, and I look forward to the opportunity to care for your loved one whenever help is needed."
